Yesterday, we reported that American rapper Pop Smoke, had been shot and killed Wednesday morning after it appeared that he had a home invasion robbery.

According to TMZ, law enforcement sources revealed that the rapper was at a home in the Hollywood Hills at around 4:30 AM when 2 men wearing hoodies and masks broke into a house.

The 2 men fired multiple shots, striking and critically wounding Pop Smoke. They were then seen fleeing on foot.

Nigerian singer, Douglas Jack Agu, also known as Runtown has reacted to the death of Pop Smoke.

The ‘Mad Over You’ crooner who mentioned late artistes’, Juice WRLD and XXXtentacion, lamented over the fact that young rappers are dying at an alarming rate.

Taking to his Twitter account, he said: “Pop Smoke. Juice WRLD, XXXtentacion. Why are we losing a generation of young rappers? ????????”
