The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi and his wife, Olori Silekunola, have welcomed a bundle of joy to their royal home.
According to the monarch, his wife birthed a baby boy today, November 18, 2020.
Although the place of birth is yet to made public knowledge, the Ooni took to Instagram to share the good news.
He posted a photo of himself and his Olori, writing;
“To God be the glory great things he has done.
“Hearty congratulations to the entire House of Oduduwa and Olori Silekunola who today birthed a Prince to the Royal throne of Oduduwa.
“Mother and child are doing well to the glory of God Almighty.”
The 45-year-old monarch, had some months back, said that he would name his prince after the 49th Ooni of Ife, Oba Adesoji Tadenikawo Aderemi.
His only other biological child is 20-year-old Princess Adeola Ogunwusi, whom the Ooni had when he was 19.
Oba Adeyeye’s first two marriages did not produce any child, hence his son with Olori Silekunola, the third wife, is his first true heir.
